Crisp Imaging Acquisition of A&I Reprographics Announced
Expanding A&I Reprographics’ Strength, Services, and Capabilities
As of January 1, A&I has officially been acquired by Crisp Imaging, a respected, family-owned digital imaging company with deep roots in our industry and locations across the West Coast. This transition strengthens our ability to serve you while ensuring continuity, stability, and long-term growth.
I made this decision with great care. Crisp Imaging aligns closely with the values on which A&I was built: quality, service, employee care, and strong client relationships. Their executive team, led by Gary and Julie Crisp, has a long-standing reputation for leadership in both reprographics and color.
What stays the same
- I will continue working with you in a sales leadership capacity.
- You will continue to work with the same A&I team you know and trust.
- Our staff is joining Crisp Imaging in full.
- Your day-to-day experience, turnaround times, and service expectations remain unchanged.
What gets better
Crisp Imaging brings expanded resources, color expertise, and an enhanced suite of services, including directional signage, large-format color, reprographics, and additional production capacity across the West Coast. These added resources allow us to support your projects with even greater flexibility and depth. Together, we are positioned to deliver the same reliability you count on, now with even more to offer.
We are also excited to share a new initiative supporting public-sector clients. Crisp Imaging is expanding high-capacity scanning services for both large-format plans and small-business documents that can be supported by Docu-Dock, a secure cloud-based document management system that provides efficient access to digital records. This initiative also includes enhanced graphics support and showcases school beautification, branding, and spirit.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. The relationships we’ve built over the years mean a great deal to me, and I’m excited about the opportunities this transition brings for you, our team, and the future of A&I within the Crisp Imaging family.
If you have any questions, please reach out to me directly. I look forward to continuing our work together and sharing the expanded solutions now available to you.
Warm regards,
Kathy Moylan

An email from Gary Crisp, President of Crisp Imaging, sent to staff about the acquisitions:
I’m pleased to announce that yesterday we completed two key acquisitions which will continue to support our growth in both the reprographics and color spaces in the West. First of all, A & I. Alhambra Reprographics was founded in 1971 in Alhambra, California and consisted of two separate operating units after the acquisition of Inland Blueprint in the 1990s. In 2006, Kathy and Gary Moylan purchased the company and merged it with Inland Reprographics in Ontario, renaming the company A & I Reprographics, and closed their Alhambra office and moved their corporate headquarters to Ontario and opened up a second location in Colton.
Under the brilliant leadership of Kathy Moylan, who will join Crisp in a sales leadership capacity, A & I emerged as the premier reprographics and color firm in the Inland Empire with an unwavering focus on customer service. A & I is a full-service firm with a large color offering as well directional signs and a host of other complementary offerings to Crisp!
Piedmont Directional Signs has been the leader in directional signs including A Boards, Coroplast, and a host of other signage products in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 leaders. Piedmont, Crisp’s largest client in the Pacific Northwest for the past several years, is led by industry veteran Dennis Fagen and quality customer service has been their number one focus.
Directional signs are the most effective tool homebuilders can use to generate traffic to their communities to direct homebuyers to their front door. Dennis will remain our leader as Crisp looks to expand its offering of directional signage throughout the West.
Both A&I and Piedmont have been acquisition targets for Crisp the last several years and with their additions Crisp continues its growth with a significant footprint in the Inland Empire as well as positioned to grow in the West with directional signage. Please welcome A&I and Piedmont to the Crisp family!
